Willo the Wisp

Willo the Wisp

Page under construction since 2nd April 2008...

Willo the Wisp is a 1981 children’s animation from the UK, with superb voices provided by Kenneth Williams.  It’s one of the weirdest children’s shows I’ve ever seen, featuring bizarre characters such as Evil Edna (a wicked witch in the shape of a television set!) and Carwash (a cat who acts like Noël Coward!)  If you’ve never seen the show, I strongly recommend you watch some episodes on YouTube immediately, or even better, buy the DVD from Amazon!

Warning:  Plot spoilers below!

Hi kev. Unfortunately I don't know much about the second series. If you visit www.willothewispdvd.com and click on "Doyley Wood Gossip", it says that "series two will be released on DVD in 2006", but there's no sign of it on Amazon, HMV, Play.com or DVD.co.uk.
