Star Trek: The Next Generation
My episode ratings

Page under construction since 8th March 2008... |
I’m a fan of Star Trek: The Next Generation, mainly because the awesome English
actor Patrick Stewart plays the lead role
of Captain Jean-Luc Picard. There are quite a few
episodes of the show (176 in total!), so to help me
remember which episodes I like and dislike (and also to provide recommendations for others interested in watching the show), I’m preparing this list of ratings. Please note: I
enjoy watching the show only; I never dress up in costumes, attend
conventions, or engage in passionate debates about the finer details of the
show
Of course, these are my personal ratings, affected by my personal bias, and I may sometimes disagree with the general opinions about which are the best and worst episodes. In my
opinion, this show reaches its full potential when it deals with deep, thought-provoking issues such as morality, the purpose of life and existence, the nature of reality, and
the advancement of knowledge and understanding by facing the unknown.
My favourite characters are Picard, Data, Q, Guinan and Barclay. Like many other viewers, I have an intense dislike of
Lwaxana, the most irritating character in the whole show.
Recently, I’ve joined Memory Alpha (a Star Trek
wiki), and begun making various minor corrections to articles there. Visit
my user page for more info.
If you like Star Trek, then check out my humorous generator – Star Trek: The Name
Generator Picard fans should also check out the excellent
Picard Song by DarkMateria, and the music video by Jux. The
Star Trek vs Star Wars mashup video is also well worth watching.
The best episodes
I have reserved the full 10/10 rating for the following episodes, which to me represent the show at its very best.
