This site was started on 28th March 2007. It’s still very much under
construction, but I’m adding more content all the time... |
I’m a software engineer, and in my spare time I enjoy creating my own software. My most well-known project is
my
Guitar Chord Explorer, which has had over 120,000 visitors since November 2003.
Other projects that you can use for free include:
My other projects include:
I’m also writing
a guide to the Mac OS X Terminal.
I’ve been playing the
piano since school, and the acoustic guitar since 2002. I recorded my first amateur
album,
The Eternal Realm, in 2005, and I participated in the professional recording of two albums with
The Newsong Group (acoustic guitar and tenor vocals) in 2007 and 2008. I’ve composed some
songs in GarageBand, and I’m also (slowly) learning to play the tenor saxophone.
I’ve created
Conway’s Game of Life: An Illustrated Guide, and I’m currently
developing
various TV episode guides. You can view some photos and videos of
“Foxy”, a friendly fox who
visits our back garden every day with her cubs

I’m also building a collection of
links to useful or interesting webpages.
Videos

All
the videos on my website are hosted for free by
Vimeo, a very cool video-sharing website, supporting much better quality videos
than
YouTube. You can find a complete gallery of my videos
here,
or you can browse my video albums
here.

Wiki contributions

I’ve
been a member of
Wikipedia since November 2006. I’ve started several articles, and made over 400 edits so far. I’ve
made major contributions to the
Journey into Space article, since I’m a big fan of this 1950s radio
show. For more info, visit
my user page. Recently, I’ve also joined
Memory Alpha (a
Star Trek wiki), and begun making various minor
corrections to articles there (visit
my user page for more info).
